(CelebrityAccess) Stefan Karl Stefansson, 43, the actor who played Robbie Rotten on the kid’s show LazyTown died after a long battle today, Aug. 21, surrounded by family and friends.
Stefansson had battled bile duct cancer for two years. He had been on LazyTown for about a decade with his last episode the show’s finale in 2014.
The cancer battle suffered by Stefansson, a cartoonish television villain, became a cause célèbre for online platforms like Reddit, which rooted for him, with Stefansson rooting back.
