LONDON (CelebrityAccess) Elvis Costello has canceled his European tour after undergoing surgery for a “small but very aggressive” cancerous tumor.
The 63-year-old Costello said in a statement that he needs time to recover from the operation and has canceled concerts in Britain, Croatia, Austria, Norway and Sweden.
“He said today in a statement that he initially thought “normal service had been resumed” but realized he needed more rest and “therefore, I must reluctantly cancel all the remaining engagements of this tour.”
Costello is scheduled to head out with the Imposters this winter.
