LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Former Beach Boy Brian Wilson announced plans for a holiday tour that will see him performing both holiday cuts from the Beach Boys era, as well as more contemporary material from his own catalog.
For the run, Wilson and his band, which includes Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin will be performing the Christmas Album in its entirety along with cuts from his solo Christmas album and other holiday fan favorites.
Fans can expect to hear Beach Boy classics such as “Little Saint Nick,” “The Man with all The Toys,” and a selection of Brian’s favorite Yuletide songs including “Blue Christmas” and “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.”
He will also perform songs from his own solo holiday album from 2005, “What I Really Want for Christmas” named for its Bernie Taupin-penned title track as well as “Christmasey,” with lyrics by his friend Jimmy Webb.
