Oakland Coliseum Gets Naming Rights Deal From Ring Central

OAKLAND, Calif. (CelebrityAccess) The Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum in California is about to be renamed Ring Central Coliseum, with the Belmont communications firm paying $1 million a year for the next three years to rebrand the home of the Oakland A’s and Oakland Raiders.

“We have a contract that we are finalizing right now,” Coliseum Authority Executive Director Scott McKibben, said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. “The lawyers are tying up last-minute loose ends, but the goal is to bring it to the authority for a vote Friday.”

Ring Central specializes in corporate communications networks. It replaces the naming rights deal of Overstock.com, or O.Co., which pulled out of the $1.45 million annual deal once the Raiders announced their move to Las Vegas in 2016.

The A’s also plan to leave for a new ballpark but no deal has been finalized.

“We have been working on this for a while now, but it was delayed over the uncertainty of the future of the stadium,” McKibben said.
