DALLAS (CelebrityAccess) Meat Loaf fell off a stage in Texas last night because of some loose wires and reportedly suffered a broken collarbone May 4.
The singer was having a Q&A session regarding the Texas Frightmare Weekend, a media event held annually in Dallas, this year during the May 3-5 weekend. Guests included Sam Raimi and Tim Curry.
Meat Loaf was walking across the stage when he began to stumble, then fell. Reports say the tripped over a bunch of wires on the stage. He eventually fell completely off the stage through a curtain.
The singer was transported to a local hospital and reportedly treated for a broken collarbone. Eyewitnesses said he refused to hand over the mic before thanking his fans. The event offered refunds to those who paid for a meet & greet.
