LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Netflix has announced it has acquired the rights to air Chris Smith’s documentary “Fyre,” an expose on the infamous Fyre Festival, in January.
Smith, director of “Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond,” worked with organizers to tell the behind-the-scenes story of the luxury event-turned-nightmarish experience, and the result is planned to air on Netflix Jan. 18, according to Deadline Hollywood.
