ATLANTA (CelebrityAccess) Shaquille O’Neal has announced he is launching his one-day “Shaq’s Fun House” EDM festival in Miami March 24.
O’Neal, the four-time NBA champion, is also known for spinning discs and the carnival-style event is expected to take place during the three-day Ultra Music Festival, according to the Associated Press. Both events are during Miami Music Week.
O’Neal said the event will not only include EDM performers but a caberet show and “over-the-top” carnival attractions and, in true old-fashioned EDM style, will be held at an announced warehouse.
“Despite all the problems that are going on in the world, there are two [things] that’ll bring people together: it’s sports and music,” he told the AP. He added that there will be “flame throwers, people swinging from ceilings, a lot of costumes. We want this to be very different than any other festival.”
